AMS and AHS Team Registration 


Late registrants will not be cleared to tryout/practice until registration is fully completed.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

AHS Families!

We are excited to announce that we are now offering the convenience of online registration through FamilyID (www.familyid.com).

FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides you with an easy, user-friendly way to register for our programs, and helps us to be more administratively efficient and environmentally responsible. When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile. You enter your information only once for each family member for multiple uses and multiple programs.

BEFORE YOU REGISTER:

Students are required to have a Medical Clearance Form signed by their doctor after the specified registration dates.  Any Medical Clearance Forms dated before the specified registration dates will not be accepted. The Medical Clearance Form is good for the entire academic year.

Completed Medical Clearance Forms need to be uploaded to your FamilyID account before Athletic Registration can be processed. Medical Clearance forms can be downloaded and printed at the link below. (See Medical Clearance Form above)

INFORMATION NEEDED TO REGISTER:

It will be helpful to have the following information handy to allow for accurate completion of your online registration.

  • Health Insurance Information, including policy #

  • Completed Medical Clearance Form (electronic copy ready to be uploaded)

REGISTRATION PROCESS:

 Follow these steps:

  1. Click the blue "REGISTER NOW" button.  Find the program for which you would like to register and click on the link. 

  2. Next click on the green Register Now button and scroll, if necessary, to the Create Account/Log In green buttons. If this is your first time using FamilyID, click Create Account. Click Log In, if you already have a FamilyID account.

  3. Create your secure FamilyID account by entering the account owner First and Last names (parent/guardian), E-mail address and password. Select I Agree to the FamilyID Terms of Service. Click Create Account.

  4. You will receive an email with a link to activate your new account. (If you don’t see the email, check your E-mail filters (spam, junk, etc.).

  5. Click on the link in your activation E-mail, which will log you in to FamilyID.com

  6. Once in the registration form, complete the information requested. Do not forget to upload your completed Medical Clearance Form in the "Participant Information" Section (REQUIRED).  All fields with a red* are required to have an answer.

  7. Click the Save & Continue button when your form is complete. 

  8. Review your registration summary. Click the green "SUBMIT" button after reviewing your registration summary.

You will receive an email from FamilyID confirming your registration.

At any time, you may log in at www.familyid.com to update your information and to check your registration(s).

To view a completed registration, select the 'Registration' tab on the blue bar.

 SUPPORT:

  • If you need assistance with registration, contact FamilyID at: support@familyid.com or 888-800-5583 x1.

  • Support is available 7 days per week and messages will be returned promptly.

For payment through FamilyID/PayPal, credit or debit card:

1. Click the green Pay & Submit button

2. On the next screen, click on Proceed to Payment to be directed to PayPal, the payment processor.

3. In PayPal, you can use a PayPal account, debit card or credit card. (You will need to select whether you want to pay with PayPal or to pay without a PayPal account.)

4. After you click Pay, you will receive a completion email from PayPal confirming your payment.

 

If the online registration process is not completed by the deadline, athletic clearance will be delayed for up to 7-14 days. Students cannot tryout for any team until the athletic office has verified the student’s scholastic eligibility.

Already played a sport this year? 

If you have already participated on an AHS sports team this academic year, you still need to log-in to your athletic clearance account and add an additional clearance for the sport you would like to participate.  Please be sure that your medical form has been uploaded to your online account.

Forgot to upload your completed Medical Clearance Form when you submitted your registration? 

(Follow the steps below to upload your completed Medical Clearance Form to an existing account)

1. Log in to your FamilyID account
2. Select "View or Edit my Registrations (Grey Button)
3. Click "SUMMARY" (Grey Button) of the registration you want to edit
4. Select "EDIT" from drop down
5. Scroll down to "PARTICIPANT INFORMATION" section
6. Click on Blue "CHOOSE FILE" button location in that section (See screenshot below)
7. Select saved copy of your Medical Clearance Form saved to your computer
8. Scroll down to bottom of screen and select "SAVE & CONTINUE" 

Albany athletics Boosters Email - Auto enroll

Once you have registered in FamilyID and been assigned to a team, your email will be added to the Albany Athletics Boosters (AAB) Email list. This will connect you with the Albany Athletics community and provide AAB updates, sports accomplishments and AMS/AHS recognition. 

To opt out at any time, please click unsubscribe at the bottom of the AAB email or send an email to Albanyboosterspres@gmail.com
